Post Processing

Images appearing in your trackday and road racing galleries are unprocessed, resized images. Before I send your photos to my professional lab, I do a number of things, to ensure your prints look great. Editing and adjustments are done on a per-photo basis to ensure each individual image receives the appropriate processing.

If you have any special requests in regards to the processing or cropping of a photo you have ordered, please include these details in the comments section of the order form.

Cropping

Your photographs will be cropped tight around you and your motorcycle to ensure you are the centre of the viewer's attention.

For example, an uncropped shot from Turn 6 at Queensland Raceway.

The same photo cropped to more effectively utilize the frame.

Levels & Colour correction

As well as being cropped your photo will also have other processing techniques applied to it, such as levels adjustment, sharpening, contrast, and saturation. All of these adjustments enhance your print from the original image, to make the colours brighter, edges sharper, and to bring detail into darker areas.

When will the photos from my trackday be online?
Photos from any trackday are usually online within a couple of days. Sometimes your trackday photos may be available for viewing on the night of the trackday, but usually they are online after 48 hours.

How long will the photos from my trackday be online?
At this stage the photos from all trackdays will stay online indefinitely. If any are removed at a later date, you will still be able to view the photos or order from your trackday by calling me. You can find my contact details here.

Can I order photos from 2 different trackdays?
Yes, however, due to limitations in the shopping cart software, you will have to either email, snail mail, or call to place your order. Click here for more information on how you can order.

How can I order?
If paying by Cheque or Money Order, please make them out to Nathan Power and post to P.O. Box 10295, Adelaide St, Brisbane, QLD, 4000.
Direct Deposit/Bank Transfer is accepted. My account details are provided in the order confirmation email you receive after placing your order.

How much is postage?
There is a flat fee of $4 for standard postage when your order is below $85. Orders over $85 are shipped free.

What are your specials?
If you order any 4 or more 6x4 inch prints, they are only $7.50 each, rather than $9 if you order 1-3. If paying via PayPal or credit card through the order form, you must select the "4 or more 6x4 prints" option in the shopping cart.
If your order exceeds $85, it will be shipped free.

What forms of payment do you accept?
The most popular method of payment is with a Visa or Mastercard credit card via the website shopping cart. The shopping cart also allows you to transfer funds from your PayPal account. You can also send a cheque or money order along with your order details (or phone them through when you post the cheque/money order). It is also possible to send a direct bank transfer, or wire the funds straight to my bank account. The bank account details are emailed to you when you complete your order, and you can find my phone, email, and postal address contact details here.

How long does my order take?
From the time you submit your order and your payment is received, it may take up to 4 weeks before your photos arrive. Nearly always, orders are processed and posted quicker, but please allow up to a month. If you haven't received your photos after 4 weeks, feel free to give me a call to check on the status of your order.

Do you sell digital files?
Yes. You can purchase small digital images for $15 each. The images are 800 pixels wide and 533 pixels high. They are not suitable for printing. They are suitable for viewing on your computer, emailing to friends and family, in a digital photo frame, etc. I don't sell or give away full size digital images of your trackday photos.
However, if you are a racer or require the commercial use of any of my images, they are available for sale (banners, posters, design use, etc.). Prices start at around $250. Call me for more details.

Are you able to work outside of SE Queensland?
I am available for motorcycle sport, motorsport in general and various other sport shooting throughout Australia. If you require my services outside of the Brisbane area, additional travel costs will apply. Call me if you have any questions.
